I use the off-road five gallon plastic fuel cans. They are available from motorcycle stores and they work better than the CARB fuel cans. They come with a vinyl hose which eases fueling.
They work better than the CARB fuel cans but, I guess they will be outlawed in California one day. Strange because they spill less gas.
