Motor Mounts

Started cutting pieces for the motor mounts for the Cummins. For right now it will sit in an engine cradle on these mounts until the truck is ready.
Any tips on welding this, or should I take it to a welding shop? My Hobart 187 isn't rated to 3/8" but most of the joints are fillet welds.
