I would be interested to know if any came from the factory with turn signals. Most trucks that were used for anything after being surplussed seem to have had turn signals added, usually with a civilian aftermarket kit where all the wires go into the column-mounted switch. Maybe they did that along with a 12 volt conversion.

There was an official military turn signal kit that consisted of the switch assembly and a separate relay box and flasher. I'd like get one but when they come up on ebay they go for too much money for me. I'm planning to use the newer plastic switch on my M43, since I have a bunch of the switch assemblies and can borrow a flasher off an M35 that never goes on the highway.
