I give up!!

Took the snow plow pump all apart.
Had some kind of paste looking stuff in there.
Drained out the oil.
Had about 1/8 inch of water in the top after it sat.
I replaced all the gaskets.
Clean it all out.
Put it all back together.
Fill it with oil.
Push the button..
NOTHING!!!
Now the motor don't even spin,make noise.
I give up,,,
