My understanding is that an adapter is needed between the PTO and the tranny that is wedge shaped, moved the PTO out and down. I have seen picks of them but they are pretty elusive. I have one that I bought that was supposed to fit an NP540 but no joy, it doesnt fit the 435 either. I will try it on the 420, maybe that is what Frank needs.
Getting a PTO for an NP435 is pretty hard. I have called different vendors who take all the info and never call back.
