Wow Rick I went through the same thing. I bolted the unit onto a spare WM300 wheel with a tire on it. then I angled the snow plow on my Wrangler and set the tire in close in the opening then chained the wheel to the frame of the Wrangler and spun the wheel around until it was wedged tight then I put a piece of heavy rebar through the holes in the puller then hooked a come along on to the rebar pulled it until the rebar was bending then heated it up hot when I thought that it was hot enough I gave the rebar a good slam with a large sledge hammer finally after a lot of trying other ways this worked. I got the idea from the archives. When putting back togeather its easy put the cap in the freezer and it will turn back on easy I even lined up my old pin holes
