Well, I think PW drums can be turned 60 thousandths over. But, I don't know if that is the safe maximum or, maybe, they can be turned more. There doesn't seem to be any markings on the drums indicating the safe limits.

I don't even know that the 14 inch drum is actually 14 inches or whether that is just a nominal size.

My brake drum gauge is for cars and won't open wide enough to measure a FFPW drum. Using a tape measure is not accurate enough, but it looks like the drum has been turned at least once already if the actual drum size is 14 inches.

Also, can most automotive shops turn a 14 inch drum, or will I have to go to a truck mechanic?
