A 6" nipple with two pipe caps. A bit of teflon tape will seal, and keep the loose end from falling off.
Years ago, you where supposed to keep the registration visible. Remember the things clamped to steering columns? And those plastic tubes for trailers and bikes?
But not no more, too many stalkers getting home addresses. So now, "with the vehicle" is good enough. Check out the later utility trailers?
