The rim will block the door 'gap' between wheel and door frame.
Hmm, I wonder of a tilt column, put in twisted 45° to the right, would allow the wheel to tilt away from the door? Or would the rim merely tilt toward the rear of the door?
It is a concern to me, with my five-window stretch cab. Plenty of leg room. But the wheel is too far away. And with my conventional seat belt on, I can't reach the switches. An inertial harness would fix that. Plus a telescoping column? And the Jeep wheel, which I think is a bit smaller...
