I had a CJ2A with a V6 in it but I don't remember which one it was, way back in the 70's. Every since I have owned that Jeep I have always said that the V6 is the best engine you could have in Jeep. I took that Jeep over the Rubicon few times and I could almost stop the engine and it would keep running.
I presently own a 77 CJ5 with a AMC 304 and 4:56 gears, to much power. I also have a 53 CJ3B with the stock four banger and of course, not enough power. But, I want to keep it stock.
