Headlight/Turn signals

I am going to place an oreder in the next few days with VPW.

One of the parts I need is the junction block headlight harness terminal. (p 30 in the new catalog).

There are two. One is a three terminal one is a two terminal. I seem to remember the ones I took off originally were two terminal. For some reason I don't know what I did with them, but searched long and hard for em.

So the three terminal says to use with turn signals. I am adding turn signals. Whats the use of the block for turn signals? when the block is used for headlights.

If thats the case, do I need two three terminal, one for each side??
