You have a weak argument :).

1 if you have 6 lug wheels you have a 201 transfer case.
2 dodge used the 205 in 1 tons from 69-93(my 92 has a 6bt,g360,np205 maried together).
3 you still will have a dana 70 rear
4 some may argue,but I think the kingpin dana 60 front is as strong if not stronger than a closed knuckle 70.
