The best suggestion I can share is to;
Find a local Auto Body Paint Supply. Go talk to them, tell them what your painting and what you want for the final look. Go 100% by their recommendation, they know their product. DO NOT, play Junior Chemist and start mixing different brands between primers, colors, top coats. Do not even mix between different paint systems from the same company. You might do something that is not compatible and ruin your job. I use PPG products because I have a PPG Auto Body Paint Supply within a hour from me. There are many other good brands. I talked with the paint supply people, years ago, followed their recommendation and have not left that path on all my trucks. I shoot PPG Epoxy primer on blasted steel, Then PPG 2K high build primer, then Base/Clear (Deltron).
