It used to be, if I remember (and that's not always assured), that diesel fuel was always a little less per gallon than the lowest grades of gas at the pump. I was even told one time that you could get more gallons of diesel and kerosene out of a gallon of crude than you could get the more highly refined gasoline.

Nowadays everywhere I go, diesel is usually more. Surely the "low sulfur" requirements of our whacko government is not the only reason??

Is this higher differential permanent? If so, the diesel is dead for future development in smaller trucks.
