I was a flight nurse on a 911 helicopter for 20 years, one time I flew this guy who was in his 80's after a car accident. He told me that He use to be a pilot in WWII. I asked him what he flew?? He said "P38 lightening". This old guys stories were awsome. At the end of the whole thing I let him know the he was more of pilot than anyone else I had ever met. Great experience.
