Dave you've got my dream job, bending barge channel. I still have nightmares about that f^$&(^ job!
The stuff in the bottom of the barrel should be the best. If it's too thick to spray add some mineral spirits.
I've spent the last 3 days coating tools for winter, and it's worth the effort.
