I have used heat/wax in the past on the screws in the top and bottom joiners. The screws have come right out, then carefully tap the top and bottom apart. Alternate between the right and left side when tapping apart. I also have a glass shop install the glass and assemble the frame. The cost is minimal to have them do it. Then back home its plug n play.
