After applying a coating of automotive and artillery lubricating grease to the parts and inside the bearing flange, lubricate the universal drive and steering knuckle flange bearings. Refer to lubrication order (next block of text)
FRONT WHEEL UNIVERSAL JOINTS AND STEERING KNUCKLE BEARINGS Every 1,000 miles nor semiannually remove lower plug and lubricate through fitting located on top of steering knuckle flange until lubricant appears at lower plug hole. Replace plug. Do not dissemble constant velocity joints.
