I think you would be very pleased with a Stock PW with some modifications for better performance. Based on your post, I suggest either a 318 or 360 engine, NP-435 or even better a NV-4500, centered rear differential with 4.89 ring and pinions, power disk brakes and power steering. I 'had' exactly that setup in my Power Wagon using a 318 with a 2bbl carb/NP-435. Great power, run 60-65, fuel usage was in the low 13's
