in order to duplicate the above and take it to its logical completion, your best bet is to contact the company in florida that makes the fiberglass cab, doors and fenders. get a new metal bed and fenders from cc sammy and stick it on a v8 equipped modern whatever frame in a 4x4 variant. no body work that way. just prime and paint! cut and fishplate the frame to get the right length. make the nose tilt electrically, put in a 350 with automatic. make sure its a chevy and not a dodge small block. get huge tires and beadlock rims. use lots of billet on the engine with braided hoses with red and blue ends. dress up the engine. get that sticker of the guy with the dodge shirt peeing on the chevy bowtie and then get some of those plastic truck nuts to hang one of those fish hook shaped rear hitches that brings the hitch down into usable range. stacks through the bed, check. gauges on the door pillar, cool. put in a light bar with kc hilights with the smiley faces. air horns are good. if you need any inspiration, get some older 4wheeler magazines where they detail such projects where there are 6 shocks on each axle end and everything is chrome. purple and green are popular colors as long as you use flames or lightening bolts. i like the mirror on the floor so you can look up at how clean the chassis is. whatever you do, do not skimp on the chrome hood logos that read power wagon - you want people to know that's what it is.

the above is an attempt at humor and maybe my personal plea / nudge to get you to hold out for an orig power wagon on a real pw frame. nothing beats an all steel dodge either bone stock, or modified tastefully for safety and enjoyment. look to paul in ny for ideas on proper mods. its your build, but go too far from the oig frame and axles and it quickly becomes anything but the real thing.
