I'm getting ready to mount the dodge special good roads plow set up on my '46 WDX. In looking at the literature (in hand and on web) there is a "shock plate" that is mentioned as being welded onto the frame where the side plate of the frame attachement bolts to the frame....does anyone have dimensions and or photos of this plate, etc....I will likely need to make them, are they necessary...I want the truck functional, but in all honesty I'm not going to be using the truck excessively to say the least (kind of a trailer queen, go get a sandwich with my 83 year old father, drive around town and honk the horn at little kids, etc. vehicle in my hands). That said, don't want to run the risk of "hurting" the frame, want the system to mount appropriately/be usable and want to do this right! Any help appreciated...will probably be writing/asking more over the next month regarding issues mounting the monarch hydraulics. Forest
