Seeking Backyard Diesel Diagnosis

Hi all,

1996 F-350, 7.3 turbo diesel, with 145,000 miles.

Symtoms:
Over the past 5-6 months a consistant "hic cup' developed as the truck is running at idle and while driving. Over the years, it would happen once every few months.

It got to the point were it is daily and stalls upon start-up when cold.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.
