I have never installed a pto that was an easy install. On the PW, tight quarters is an understatement. On my W300, the pto mounts to the transfer case and is considerably heavier than a transmission mounted pto. The single direction/single speed ptos are a piece of cake. Get one that reverses or has a double shaft and you have more weight and more bulk.
Then, after all the struggling and whining and knuckle scraping, you discover it needs more shims, or less shims. But it'll all be worth it the first time you break the cable pulling your buddy out of the mud. Ha ha.
