My front end is in fine condition.
It's not a matter of needing repair, its a matter of enhancing the drive-ability of the vehicle.
I've up-dated to a Saginaw P.S, and Michelin 11x16s. Equivalent modern trucks (straight axle, radials, p/s) use 3-10 degrees of caster.
Currently, there is poor road feel, and the wheel doesn't want to return to center on it's own. Caster should fix those probs.
But it's a moot point now. I've just finished milling out a pair of solid steel 4 1/2° shims. I'll let you know how it turns out.
