Your picture is how I have seen roof seams on both my trucks and hundreds of cut up parts trucks at VPW and other yards over the years. I am wondering if the Danish Power Wagons may have been done differently.

By-the-way. The guy I heard of who used the bottom seam/roll/rim off of a 55 gallon drum left a little bit of the bottom of the drum (sectioned to open up the radius) and laid that in between the turned down flanges of the roof panels.
