Yes, the 'T' part is a good representation.

My current cab has the 90° bends to inside the cab. I believe my original cab did too, or I would have been curious of the difference. It did have remnants of the 't' strip, and much rust. Original cab was '52, replacement had a solenoid mount, so late '50s?

Your carryall is WWII, what year PW? Both the same?

On yours, you are saying the ends of the sections were bent upwards, then down and away from each other, in 180° bends? And the trim strip is what holds them together? Two 180° edges, trim strip as a 'c' shape slid on from the end, then rolled down to crimp it all together?

Repetitiously redundant for clarity.
