The engine in my PW has an XX on the serial number pad in place of the serial number. Also it has a D4008 stamped vertically on the front driverside corner of the block in front and slightly below the serial number pad. I have to assume this is a replacement block, would that assumption be correct. Also, how would I know if it is a 251 without the engine number?
