the straight 8s came in Chrysler and Desoto cars and were aalso sold as industrial engines. never seen one in a truck. Dodge Cars actually had straight 8s for a feww years in the early 30s but the idea died as a result of the ongoing depression. it is too bad as had they kept up with the straight 8s our WCs and PWs may have had them.
