You can do it yourself.
All you need is a key blank and a little patience. Disasemble the lock,insert the key blank and note how far the tumblers stick up above the surface of the barrel. File the key so that the tumblers are level with the barrel surface, and reassemble.
Just be careful to put everything back the same way.
First time I did this was 1963. I was working summers in a Dodge dealership while in college. We were prepping a new A 100 van and the customer was due in one hour. We discovered that one of the door locks didn't work and that the lock cylinder wasn't matched to the others. Being a fearless kid I just tore the door apart, tore the lock apart, and filed the tumblers to match the key. We delivered the van on time.
That was the same summer that I fell asleep on a creeper under a car for an hour after a hard night of partying......but I digress.
