The Speed Queen we got from my grandmothers place was needing small repairs every other year, so my wife wanted a new one. We went to sears and ordered a new one, took them 3 weeks to get us the washer, in the mean time I fixed the Speed Queen again.
A week from being out of warrenty the sears needed a repair, of course while full of wet clothes. I ran a hose and extension cord out to the driveway to the old washer, that probably had been there for a year. My wife's a good sport, she just grabbed a chair and book and finished the wash in the driveway.
