Cab marker lights

Ok, I want some amber chrome maker lights on the cab of my truck. I'm trying to make up my mind if I should go chrome plastic or chrome die cast. Seems to me the chrome plastic would hold up better, the cheap chrome die cast light seem to pit up real fast.
