When you bolt it to the block when you are going to tighten the 4 bolts between the two manifolds, do not put any gaskets between the block and either manifold. By doing this it assures that the it will be as flat as possible against the block. Make sure that the mating surface on the block and both manifolds is well cleaned.

It is very common for one or more of the four bolts that hold the manifolds together will break. Be sure to use lots of heat at the corners where the bolts go into the intake manifold. You need to make sure that the manifold has expanded to allow the bolts to come out easy. It is a real pain to drill them out if they break off flush. These four bolts always seem to be thinned by corrosion. Be sure to use anti-seize on when installing new bolts. I would actually put long studs into the intake manifold then put the exhaust manifold on and use lock washers and nuts to hold the assembly together. It is much easier to heat the nuts than trying to heat the intake manifold to get the assembly apart. Use anti-seize!!!!!
