data plate

Could someone post or tell where a picture could be found of a '46 WDX door post data plate? The plate is missing from my truck. I bought a new one from VPW. There are 2 holes in the correct alignment for the new plate. There are 2 other holes directly below that are spaced about 2" apart. I am wondering what sort of plate might have been there. Something was there at one time, because the jamb was repainted around it, leaving an oval imprint.
If only these trucks could talk.
