I thought I'd ask here, even though it's a Ford I'm fighting with, because the PW MC fill plug is similar. Problem is it's an aluminum screw plug with large-diameter threads and only a small knob in the middle to grab with a wrench. The Ford one one is even worse than the PW (no surprise there) because the threaded part is a larger diameter, and the thing you're supposed to grab onto is a hex that's too large for an 11/16 wrench and too small for 3/4. So, that leaves crescent wrenches, pipe wrenches, and vise-grips, and a rounded off "hex". It's been soaking in Kroil. I've tried to grab the outer edge with channel-locks and a big pipe wrench, but it's too thin to get hold of. On the PW, you can at least take the whole sheet-metal top off and take it into the shop to deal with, but the Ford one is a one-piece casting with no separate top. I have to get it off because the brake pedal is going to the floor now.

I'm inclined to just bust it out with a cold chisel and stick a rubber expansion plug or a cork into it, but thought I'd ask here first in case anyone has a better idea.
