They also had a Diesel called the toro flo...I don't think it lasted long at all, maybe better than the 5.7 diesel?

I see all kinds of these things around KC here. I saw TWIN V12's on a grinder tub (HUGE grinder tub they were feeding 4'+ trees into). They have been used in forklifts, dumptrucks, gensets, etc. My neighbor had a '64 GMC 3/4 ton with a 305. They sound cool and I remember it roasting the tires on the low water crossing a few times (dry not wet). Though very cool, I wouldn't think (even though my WC is chevy powered) it would be a good choice unless you just have one laying there. Here are some links I found quite awhile ago.
