If the engine runs good and oil pressure is the only issue, you could pull the pan and check bearing clearance. You do this by using green plastic gauge purchased at NAPA. Cut a streep, lay it on the bearing surface, retorque the cap, take the cap back off and measure clearance against the plastic gauge package. This can help an individual determine if the crank needs reground or bearings shimmed, if journals are good.
