You probably have the small oil filter canister,If you can,get a spin on from an old Studebaker or rambler from the junk yard or a larger canast one that holds 1/2 quart more oil ,then you have more choices for filters. I heard in the old days of people using a roll of toilet paper. They don't make even toilet paper like they use to anymore and the modern toilet paper roll would fall apart and clog things up
