Many different output HP's and Torques. It all depends on the CPL Number (CPL) COntrol Parts List. CPL is a Cummins number that describes the engine.

The Cummins we deal with are B Series, both 4B (4 cyl) and 6B (6 cyl) even the new cummins in Dodge Pickups are B series engines.

Here is the basic Model Decoder;

4or 6 = number of cylinders

B = Series and a single B with nothing following it is naturally aspirated

T = Turbo

A = Aftercooled either CAC (charge air cooling) cooler mounted in front of radiator or JWAC ( Jacket Water Aftercooler) Charge air cooled by engine coolant , cooler mounted on top of engine intake manifold.

I use all 4BTA (CPL) 857 engines. Any more answers late today, I am off with the Bandit Wheeling with a bunch of Friends.

Paul
