I fired the 55 PW with a 230 flathead today. I had it outside .I have never ran it for more than a few minutes previously. Today I ran it for at least a 1/2 an hour. Sounds pretty good the smoke is clearing the longer it runs . It smokes black when you first throttle it up. I think the accelerator pump may be giving too much fuel. It has no hesitation at all. What is the correct hole setting? Carb is a E7T2. What really has me bummed , is I have a oil leak that looks like it is comming from the front of the oil pan. I replaced that gasket . I must have done something wrong . Guess the pan comes back off. Thanks to Dave Horvath and Keith Wolfe for helping me get the flat bed on the truck today as well.
