I made it home last night from Joel's "woodshed" to my house. Left at 7:00 AM, got home at 11:00 PM. Had one stop at a tool place in PA but other than that just drive drive drive. I had planned to make it home in 2 jaunts, but decided to push it on through.
Now, just to clarify, Joel's "woodshed" is actually pretty cushy. It is a freestanding building with his Power Wagon stored on the lower level, and a full apartment above. Bath, with a shower, full kitchen, very comfy bed, heat, lights, all the comforts of home!
After I got done working on Joels truck (that part was true, although Joel DID help, just just a little)he and I went and toured a Frank Lloyd Wright house called Kentuck Knob. I really dont see how ol' Frank got so popular. We then went through an early 1800s house owned by Albert Gallatin, first secretary of the treasury, etc. That house was much more practical.
Joel, Melissa and I met up with Dave and Marguarite Horvath and Keith Wolfe at the Black Bear in Morgantown for a last Rally Hurrah!
I cant thank Joel and Melissa enough for all their great hospitality and friendship hosting me before and after the Rally.
Tim
