I got into my shed and chased the pack rats off of that 2-output gearbox long enough to take some pictures. They're on my FTP server, and they're big, but you should be able to see them by clicking the files in the link below. Be patient with loading because my outbound bandwidth isn't very high. The tag says it's a Dana/Spicer 16-B. Interestingly, the "B" is stamped over top of an "A". I'm not sure what that means, but perhaps it means that one of the outputs was turned around. On mine, one of the outputs faces forward and one faces the rear. I suspect that you can take it apart and turn the innards around to face whichever way you want, just like on the standard PW PTO. Also, mine is upside down in the picture, which is why the drain plug is sticking out of the top. The tag says "PTO" in the pre-printed part, but that's probably the standard tag Spicer had, and they didn't want to make up a new one for this specialized box. It's definitely not a PTO. You can also see that they didn't use the proper rivet holes in the tag, but punched new ones closer together.

Jerry, did you ever excavate the tag on yours? What does it say? Does yours have the outputs facing different ways?
