OK I just read this post. #1 if the headgasket is blown between 2 cylinders.When you check compression it will blow over to the other cylinder. All plugs out and you will here the different sound. It happend to me. I use a copper coat paint on the gasket before install. FellPro makes the paint. Give it 2 coats before install and I took my head to the Machine shop to have shaved. Good Luck.
