Get some separation between frame and cab, also between tranny and cab. Stops much buzzing from the chassis from getting to the cab. The pressed rim around the floor opening should NOT be rubbing grooves into the frame.

Spacers were my cheap and easy solution, I suppose new rubbers would be taller? But I also shimmed it as required to get the hood and nose to line up.

PITA getting those 60 year old bolts out, if you haven't had the cab off lately.
