suggest you have yours resized at machine shop, but I don't know whether 218/230 are interchangeable.longer stroke means shorter rod or shorter compression distance(piston from pin hole to top)-either pistons are different or rods are different .
try a new posting (I think joe's going to renew soon, this one will go bye-bye-)something like "218 to 230- what engine parts interchange?". I'm sure somebody in E-Land knows.
