Yes, you might be able to swap later model axles into your rear end. I'm not sure about the front but it might be doable too. You'll need 1981 or later axles from a 4X4 truck with the 5 on 5½ inch bolt pattern. I'd take a wheel with you to try it on before you buy them. The brake drums and rotors will have to be changed too as the bolts go through them. You need to have the same size rear end though. 9 1/4 won't interchange with 8 1/4.
