I hope you put harden valve seat in because you will be REPLACING them as they are alread there as your engine was made to run on UNLEADED gas. Leaded gas was a more expensive grade (ETHYL) and these engines were designed to run on the cheap stuff. As a matter of fact they gas today, even the lowest octane which is SUNOCO 86, is way to much octane for these engines. A little history less....Phillips 66 was not named for the route but for the HIGHEST octane available at the time.....


Also LUBRIZOL Powersheild is an excellent lead supplement and should be used in older non hardened valve seat engines like in fasrm machinery.
