My '53 B3-126-PW has what looks like an original equipment heater/defroster. It is pretty strange - boxy with four little doors for regulating and directing the output. There are two fans on one motor! In the front is a radial fan blade for pumping air into the cab, and at the rear is a squirrel cage blower directing defrost air up behind the dash. In between them is the motor, surrounded by four interconnected heater cores arranged in a square pattern. Then there is a screen like from a rabbit cage to keep fingers out of the radial fan (as though it would go fast enough to be a hazard with 6 volts driving it). The control is a lighted dial rheostat for fan speed. The only temp control are two stopcock valves where the hoses connect to the head. Simple(?) but effective. One or more cores are leaking again after repairs a few years ago, so I just turned off the hose stopcocks for now. I can not remember the brand, but there is a name plate on the box.
