Im in north ga (Dawsonville) I saw this truck when i was riding around in the mountains the other day. The truck looked like the one in the picture at the top of the forum except i didnt notice a split windsheild. Also the front looked like it may have been a later body style ( more rounded maybe). Ofcourse im only going by memory of just driving by a couple of times.
I have been doing a lot of research on these tonight and have found a great deal of info. Even if i dont get this one I'm interested in finding one. Ofcourse as to be expected the more info i find out the more questions i have.
So here are a few q's.
1. did they all come with a flat 6 or was there a v8 model?
2. Do they make good tow vehicles?
I think it would be awsome to tow my 84 rx7 race car to the track with one of these. I dont know what they weigh but it looks like a lot. and by the hp and torque numbers i've seen, it looks like it may lack in power.
3. If i did get one and found i needed/wanted more power is there a popular v8 swap for these? or would that ruin the value or integrity of the truck.
4.What years did they make the body style im looking at?
I'm shure ill have more questions for you guys. Thanks for the help.

Mike
