I have the valve over the wheel wall. It was leaking bad so i removed the hoses from it and found that it was corroded bad. I just got two PVC hose connectors and 4 clamp the I bypassed the valve and hooked them right togeather. So I have heat running through the heater core the whole time. My wire was disconnected. I think it was leaking when it was open so they closed the valve and removed the wire. I would check to make sure all the clamps are on the wire, this will cause it not to stay on or open the valve properly...
