Came back as new and reset to 0 miles With face repainted and dryrotted needle fixed. From what I can see from outside, luminus repainted inside and thouroughy cleaned/restored. I guess "as new" says it all. $145.00, I felt that was very reasonable for the job performed. I also thank VPW (Steve)for the service on a set of N.O.S. temp, amp, fuel and oil Guages they supplied me.($200)+S/h. I think this was also a fair price for 50+ year old part. I had a small problem with the temp guage they supplied and it was promptly replaced by them. Steve did tell me a while ago that the temp and i think fuel guages were getting scarce. There has been some VPW bashing about price in the past, but I feel that they always seem to come thru no matter what you ask for and they are entitled to make a couple of bucks for this very unique service. As long as you have a usable core, Wolf co. can rebuild any guage if it should become un-vailable thru one of the many fine suppliers out there. Boy is my dash gonna look great when done!! What I am looking for now is N.O.S. or quality repro Knobs. Any sugestions in PW land? JOHN
